Agent Products

ProAg offers a range of products including the Federal Crop Insurance Program, crop hail and named peril insurance products. ProAg agents have access to a large variety of plans that can be customized to best meet the risk management needs for their insureds. Come experience the ProAg difference today.

Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI)
MPCI policies must be purchased prior to planting and cover loss of crop yields from many natural causes including drought, excessive moisture, freeze and disease. Newer coverage options combine yield protection and price protection to guard farmers against potential loss in revenue, whether due to low yields or changes in market price.

Crop-Hail policies are not part of the Federal Crop Insurance Program and are provided directly to farmers by ProAg. Many farmers purchase additional Crop-Hail coverage because hail has the unique ability to totally destroy a significant part of a planted field while leaving the rest of the farm undamaged. In areas of the country where hail is a frequent event, farmers often purchase a Crop-Hail policy to protect high-yielding crops. Unlike multi-peril crop insurance, a Crop-Hail policy can be purchased at any time during the growing season.

Named Peril
ProAg has developed a specialized portfolio of named peril insurance products to protect the legacy of American farmers. Named peril policies help fill a gap in federal crop coverage and typically insure a single peril like rain or freeze to help protect a farmer’s exposure. From raisin reconditioning to citrus freeze, from supplemental replant coverage to increased coverage election, learn more from your ProAg Account Representative to see what policies might be available to help protect your farmer's legacy.
