Northern and western regional drought conditions have led to another drop in U.S. corn and soybeans good-to-excellent ratings. According to the USDA NASS weekly Crop Progress report, the following percentages crops were in good to excellent condition: 65% of corn (down 3% from last week), 60% of soybeans (down 2%), 49% of winter wheat (up 1%), 52% of cotton (up 7%), 74% of rice (up 2%), and 39% of oats (down 3%).
