Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from ProAg

This holiday season, we’re thankful for another year of serving our policyholders and agents. We are honored to work in an industry that helps protect our farmers and ranchers that feed, clothe and fuel the world. We’re proud to have a team of true agvocates who are passionate about the work they do and the industry they serve.

We’re also grateful for the difference the ProAg Cares program makes, as our team members give back to the local community and engage with the industry more deeply through volunteer time off. The ProAg Cares program also takes care of our own, assisting fellow team members affected by natural disasters or abnormal family situations.

This year instead of sending out holiday cards, we’re proud to make a financial gift to Feeding America on behalf of our employees, agents, policyholders and vendor partners. In addition, we challenged our employees to join us in making donations to their favorite charities this year on Giving Tuesday. Along with matching funds from our parent company – Tokio Marine HCC – we collected nearly $15,000 for charity this holiday season.

Human Resources Director Tim Rich shares his personal experience with Giving Tuesday:

“Food is the most basic and fundamental need of humans. The opportunity to give to an organization like Feeding America not only helps to meet this need but also aligns with the mission of ProAg. We can partner with and support an industry that is meeting the most basic human need on this planet. It is better to give than receive is the simplest and yet most profound concept, which is why I look forward to participating yearly in Giving Tuesday – especially with the matching funds.”

The ProAg offices will be closed Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26, in celebration of the Christmas holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, December 27.
