2018 Holiday Message – Being a Good Company

As this year draws to a close, we would like to take some time to reflect on the things we are thankful for, as well as some of the challenges of 2018.

We are thankful for our agent partners who make our success possible. We appreciate those who have worked with us for decades, as well as those who have recently joined us. We are committed to continuously delivering results in the long-term as we live up to the trust you have placed in us.

We are thankful for the opportunity to support the work of the American farmer as they continue to provide us with food, fuel and fiber for our everyday lives.

Making a Difference in the Agricultural Community

At ProAg we are committed to being a Good Company balancing our strength as an organization with our compassion as individuals. As we look back on the past year, we recognize the challenges faced by our agricultural community

From Hurricanes Michael and Florence, to wildfires in the west, from drought in the spring to excessive flooding during harvest, this year the ag community was affected by more than their fair share of natural disasters.

In the spirit of being a Good Company, ProAg has decided, instead of sending holiday cards, we will make a donation on behalf of our agents, vendors and employees. We have chosen to donate to state FFA organizations in states that were most affected by this year’s natural disasters.

Donations will be made to the state FFA foundations in: California, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.

Making a Difference in Our Local Communities

ProAg and its employees are also committed to making a difference in the communities where they live and work. Here are just a few of the projects that ProAg employees participated in this year: Toys for Tots, Georgia Manor Nursing Home, Harvester’s Community Food Network, Boys Grow, Salvation Army, and Blessing Bags for the Homeless.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We look forward to another year of serving our agents as well as providing valuable risk management tools for America’s farmers and ranchers.

As you celebrate the holidays with those you love, at tables filled with delicious food grown by our producers, from our family to you and yours, we wish you a joyous Christmas and a growth-filled New Year.
