Recently, several ProAg employees used volunteer time off (VTO) to support their local non-profit organizations. Here are a few we spotlight this month:
- Michelle Tobias, Matt Tobias, Anngie Steinbarger, and Hayley Clark all volunteered with the Shelby County Beef Cattle Association. It is their county’s beef cattle group that sells food at the county fair to raise money for scholarships, herdsmanship education and supporting the local beef exhibitors through sponsorship of their yearly projects.
- Tom Kemper volunteered at his granddaughter’s school for their fifth-grade track and field day, where approximately 120 kids participated. Tom was the starter for the running events and helped measure the distance for soccer kicks, football throws, softball throws, and frisbee throws.
