Russia has continued its attack against Ukraine, this time targeting ships seeking to port in Ukraine’s Black Sea. Ukraine has spoken out against Russia’s “hellish” overnight strikes that damaged the country’s grain export infrastructure. The attack comes after Russia recently announced the withdrawal of participation in the Black Sea Grain deal. The U.N. has since warned the move could risk amplifying the global hunger crisis.
Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s office shared the recent attack wounded ten civilians, including a young child. Russia says any ship going to port will be viewed as a military cargo ship, with 63 missiles and drones launched on Wednesday last week to dismantle infrastructure and military facilities in Ukraine.
