More than 1,000 United Auto Workers (UAW) members at CNH Industrial are on strike as of Monday this week. Workers say they are striking to improve standard of living, retirement benefits and a better work environment. UAW members at the Racine, Wisconsin and Burlington, Iowa CNH locations say CNH could not reach an agreement with their demands, even as the company reported a $1.8 billion profit in 2021.
