Two farmers and two longtime members of the crop insurance industry have joined the ranks of the USDA-RMA Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors, roles that will enable them to leverage industry experience and expertise to shape future federal risk management programs and policies. The FCIC board most notably oversees the federal crop insurance program managed by RMA, and the specific individuals — two farmers in Washington and Iowa, respectively, and two crop insurance experts with decades of experience — represent a broad cross-section of agriculture. The new board members bring knowledge of agent relationships and work, reinsurance, small grains and specialty crops. Learn about the new board members.
