The USDA National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) selected nearly 140 projects across the United States to receive funds under new conservation-focused partnerships, totaling $70 million. The selected projects will serve underserved producers, including those who are “beginning, limited resource, socially disadvantaged, and veterans.” There will also be opportunities for students interested in agriculture, natural resource management and related fields.

Projects receiving funds are focused on conservation education and practices, protecting farmland, watersheds and wildlife, participation in conservation programs and climate-smart initiatives. Read more about the program and selected projects.
