Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has created a new carbon-sequestration task force to find ways to incentivize landowners and increase participation. Carbon sequestration is traditionally defined as using plantings, such as cover crops, and sometimes mechanical injection, to store carbon underground to reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
