Potato market conditions are looking positive, according to data comparing to a year ago. Lower yields have created a firm market, leading the way for increased shipping point prices. One such example, 70 count russet norkotah’s in Idaho were priced as high as $15 as of late October, an increase of roughly $5-6 a year ago. Colorado also an increase of $2.50-3 per 70-count compared to a year ago.
