2021 brought a whole new set of challenges to the ag industry, with supply chain issues sending the price of farm machinery to new heights. The pandemic and a series of other factors, including but not limited to pent-up demand, skyrocketed machinery prices along with setting a number of used sale auction records.
So, what can we expect in 2022? While the current supply chain issues don’t appear to have an immediate end in sight, manufacturing companies have started to implement improvement and efficiency processes to meet the strong demands of farmers. This in turn will allow more inventory of new machinery to help balance out the all-time new and used machinery prices farmers are experiencing right now.
