The 2022 funding bill for the Food and Drug Administration, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the Agriculture Department was approved by the House Appropriations Committee with a sizeable spending increase of $2.8 billion (10% boost). The new funds will significantly boost climate change and ag research programs.
