President Joe Biden has signed a new Executive Order to help tackle anti-competitive issues in the U.S. including the controversial “Right to Repair” topic. The order includes 72 initiatives covering everything from airlines to equipment manufacturers in the agriculture industry. The order, if passed, may also impact internet rates as it requires providers to report prices and subscription rates to the FCC. Other highlights include a call to issue more favorite rules for producers under the Packers and Stockyards act, a better definition of what meat can be labeled as “Product of USA”, and a plan to increase opportunties for farmers to access markets. View some of the key details from the order.
