Changes to Triticale

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) has approved the following changes to triticale coverage for the 2022 and succeeding crop years under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act:

  • Expansion of the program to an additional 128 counties in 21 states
  • Revision to the maximum contract price factor from 1.4 to 2.27 times the established price for the crop year.
