Row-crop harvest has the potential to be wrapped up by turkey day, if Mother Nature cooperates over the next week. Corn harvest is currently at 91%, which is down 3% from prior year but still 5% ahead of the five-year average. Michigan and Ohio rank as the slowest currently, at 76% and 78% complete, respectively, but have potential to make up the difference over the next week. With Illinois leading the harvest percentages at 93%, Soybeans jumped 5% from prior week to 92% complete, as of Sunday. This sits 3% behind prior year but nearly on pace with the five-year average (down 1%). Winter wheat planting is nearing completion at 94%, which is right on pace with the five-year average.
