The majority of U.S. farmers are wrapping up corn and soybean harvests, according to the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, released on Monday. Led by Indiana, Iowa and Nebraska, corn harvests sit at 95% complete which is three points ahead of the five-year average. Soybeans also are at 95% complete, led again by Indiana, and only one point behind the five-year average. North Carolina soybean farmers are 12 percentage points ahead of their five-year average at 77% complete.
Winter wheat conditions are currently at 44% good/excellent, down two percentage points from the week prior.
