Did you know that for every .27 pounds of human edible food that ruminants consume, they produce 1 pound of product? While bovine suffer from a unfriendly stereotype pegging them as inefficient uses of land and creators of greenhouse gases, cattle production boasts many environmentally friendly processes that produce healthy, protein-packed food options.

It is estimated that animal agriculture contributes to approximately 4% of U.S. greenhouse gases while dairy animals specifically contribute to 1.9%. As overall efficiency improves, overall emissions continue to decline.
