U.S. dairy’s Net Zero Initiative (NZI) will now have more resources on the horizon thanks to a $10 million grant awarded to the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR). The organization says they plan to research and advance their six-year project titled: “Dairy Soil & Water Regeneration: building soil health to reduce greenhouse gases, improve water quality and enable new economic benefits” to help the industry achieve its 2050 Environmental Stewardship Goals.

The grant funds will also be matched by Nestlé and Newtrient, for a total of $23.2 million. Find out more about NZI’s Dairy Soil & Water Regeneration project.
