The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Purdue University are hosting a four-part extension workshop for women in agriculture, focusing on emergency preparedness for rural families. The workshops will be held at multiple locations across Nebraska and Indiana.

Attendees will hear from experts on farm and ranch emergency management, first aid, fire protection and hazardous materials. The workshops result from a partnership between the two universities and will be hosted by local extension personnel at each location. Keynote speakers will also be simulcast to each location with additional speakers and hands-on activities at each site.
