Data from a study by the Federal Milk Marketing Order (FMMO) system found that nearly 25% of all milk produced in America is in 13 counties. This is according to reported federal order data from December of 2021. The only county east of the Mississippi belongs to Pennsylvania, where Lancaster County made the cut.
