Despite having nearly double the population present day, fluid milk sales have dropped to 46.4 billion bounds, a number not seen since 62 years. The amount also caps off an 11-year decline and a particularly challenging 2020. Flavored whole milk sales appear to be holding steady, while skim and flavored milk (besides whole) took a dive, largely due to school closures seen across the country in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
