Fruit and vegetable producers interested in learning more about issues affecting the industry have the opportunity to virtually attend the upcoming U.S. Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee (FVIAC) meeting. Producers can register for this event via this link, which will take place on February 1st from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. EST and is organized by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). Producers also submit written industry comments and feedback at https://www.regulations.gov by January 26th.
Established in 2001, the FVIAC was created to review issues affecting the food and vegetable industry and provide producers with opportunities to provide input and ideas for improvements.
