A mix of new and returning faces will compile the 26 Republicans selected to the House Agricultural Committee, a group with vital importance to the passing of the next Farm Bill. House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn “GT” Thompson, R-Pa., made the announcement late Monday night. The Democrats have not yet released their list of committee members.

Thompson remarked: “It’s imperative we hit the ground running through a rigorous hearing schedule, listening sessions, and aggressive oversight. I look forward to working closely with my colleagues as we put forward commonsense solutions that provide certainty for rural America.”
