A famous, northern-Texas ranch is up for sale for the first time in 120 years at a cool $200 million. Turkey Track Ranch sits on 26 miles of river, includes seven creeks, and multiple reservoirs, springs and lakes. Located in Hutchinson County, the ranch also boasts two historic 1800s battle sites. Two families have owned the ranch for more than 100 years, and announced the sale is due to changing family locations and increased family members. The winner of the 2016 National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Environmental Stewardship Award, the ranch is well known for its extensive stewardship efforts, biodiversity and water management. While the ranch has a carrying capacity of 2,200 animal units and an additional 2,000 head of cattle, it also contains 1,200 acres of cropland and 20 oil and gas wells.
