In view of recent USDA Crop Production report data and four decades of historical corn and soybean yield information, most states’ farmers are expected to achieve above-trend yields for both crops, according to new analysis. Iowa is the lone outlier in the Midwest, while Arkansas and Mississippi will also see lower-than-trend corn yield, while Iowa and Alabama are expected to see soybean yields slightly below trend.
