Though late-September models like this are often met with skepticism — which research leaders acknowledge — there’s reason to believe 180-bushel/acre and almost 52-bushel/acre soybeans are well within reach as national corn harvest progress is likely to be within reach of the midway point in today’s USDA Crop Progress report.
