The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) recently authored a letter to congress, advocating for protection for family-owned farms and ranches from tax implications. Nearly 330 trade associations signed on to the letter, asking congress to consider family farms and ranches when drafting legislation for Biden’s “Build Back Better” agenda. As more than 370 million acres expect to change hands over the next 20 years, NCBA says protecting family-owned businesses is not a partisan issue. Read more details of NCBA’s letter here.
