PRF Signup Deadline Approaching
The Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage insurance was designed to help protect a producer’s operation from the risks of forage loss due to the lack of precipitation. The increasingly popular program's signup deadline is November 15, with any premiums minus indemnity payments coming due September 1, 2021. The program offers coverage levels between 70% and 90% and indemnities are based on aggregate conditions in a grid system and is available in a maximum of six two-month periods for the selected acres.
