As livestock producers nationwide continue to voice their concerns over California’s Proposition 12, five senators introduced a bill with a goal to stop the regulation from enacting next year. The proposed Exposing Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act aims to prevent individual states like California from radically regulating agriculture production in other states. As it stands now California’s Prop 12 goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2022. Find out more about what is proposed in this bill.
