American farmers and ranchers are leading the way in sustainability, supported by data from the Animal Agriculture Alliance impact report. The report, which was released in advance of Earth Day, showcased the actions being taken in the ag community to build a sustainable future in the U.S.

Highlights of committed goals and action plans include:

>> U.S. beef to reach carbon neutrality by 2040
>> U.S. pork to reduce GHG emissions by 40% by 2030
>> U.S. dairy to achieve GHG neutrality by 2050

The report also showcased current progress, including how U.S. pork community is producing more pork today while, from 1960 to 2015, reducing 76% land and 25% water usage.
