For the fifth year, National Ag Day has been publicly recognized by the White House as a day to highlight the contributions of farmers and ranchers around the nation. It’s been an especially challenging year for the ag sector, and Tuesday is seen by National Ag Day organizers at the Agriculture Council of America (ACA) as a day to not only celebrate agriculture’s impacts on society, but also inform consumers and others about the importance of the sector of the economy and the men, women and families it supports.
