After a multitude of supply chain disruptions were exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the USDA has announced plans to invest more than $4 billion to improve the U.S. food system. The Build Back Better initiative has goals centered around improving food processing, distribution and aggregation opportunities while ensuring prices are fair, competitive and evenly distributed.
