With 483 frontline worker deaths and nearly 94,000 infected or exposed to COVID-19, USDA’s recently unveiled Food and Farm Relief grant program will provide up to $700M to individuals working on the food supply chain frontlines. The dollars are intended as relief for financial hardship endured from the purchasing of personal protective equipment, dependent care, expenses from quarantines and testing related to the virus. The funds will be awarded through grants to various state agencies. Read more on eligibility here.
