The USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA) announced Wednesday it’s adjusting its Whole-Farm Revenue Protection (WFRP) program to lighten policyholders’ paperwork and recordkeeping load. Beginning in the 2021 crop year, growers will be able to combine multiple direct-marketed commodities into a single commodity code and revenue projection. Policyholders will also have the option to offset a portion of 2021 premiums with funds from any indemnity payments this year. See how else the WFRP program is being adjusted for 2021.
