According to a USDA report for the week ending July 29th, old crop corn (2.7 million bushels) and soybean sales were down moderately versus their prior 4-week average. Wheat sales also fared below the predicted trade volume. New crop corn (32.7 million bushels), however, exceeded total volume estimates from analysts. In total, 2020/2021 corn crop sales (2.501 billion bushels) have paced nearly 1 billion bushels ahead of prior year, a positive sign for future outlook. See more insights from the latest report.
