USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) offices around the country began receiving calls late last week from dairy producers reporting missing Dairy Margin Coverage (DMC) payments. USDA addressed the claims early Monday, saying that market volatility remains unpredicatable and available funds had been exhausted for the federal program. However, the most recent update noted producers should be receiving payments after the procedural actions have been rectified. The July DMC payments are expected to be largest of the year.
