Blueberries are in healthy supply as winter creeps closer, according to California Giant Berry Farms. The international company says Chile is producing high-quality, organic blueberries while Mexico expects another strong season with improved flavor profiles. The company reports “astonishing” year-over-year increases, citing Peru’s largest production year on record for the third year in a row. While blueberry demand and consumption continue to increase, the brand says it will employ several consumer engagement opportunities to build brand awareness and drive purchase intent for all-season purchases of fresh berries.

The company also states that production out of their home state of California is ahead of previous years, with first picks anticipated to start in early December. Volume is expected to increase, peaking in April and May.
