Apiculture (API) insurance provides a safety net for beekeepers’ primary income sources – honey, pollen collection, wax, and breeding stock.
Dairy Revenue Protection (DRP)
Dairy Revenue Protection (DRP) is designed to insure against unexpected declines in the quarterly revenue from milk sales relative to a guaranteed coverage level.
Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO)
The Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO) insurance policy option provides additional area-based coverage for a portion of a producer’s underlying crop insurance policy deductible.
Hurricane Insurance Protection
The Hurricane Insurance Protection - Wind Index (HIP-WI) Endorsement covers a portion of the deductible of the underlying crop insurance policy when the county, or a county adjacent to it, is within the area of sustained hurricane-force winds from a named hurricane.
Livestock Risk Protection (LRP)
Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) insures against declining market prices (based on USDA's Agricultural Market Service).
Margin Protection Plan (MPP)
Margin Protection Crop Insurance Plan provides coverage against an unexpected decrease in operating margin (revenue less input costs). MPP insurance is an area-based crop insurance program.
Nursery Crop
Nursery crop insurance is available in all states to operating nurseries that meet certain criteria, by practice (field-grown or container).
Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO)
The Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO) insurance policy option is a county-level revenue-based or yield-based optional crop insurance endorsement that provides additional coverage for a portion of your underlying crop insurance policy deductible.
